Back in October, I spent a day at the Delaware County SPCA in Media. The staff there works hard to be a “life-saving organization,” in that it takes in animals from other shelters, both in the Philadelphia region and beyond, where the animals are more likely to be euthanized for no other reason than that there is not enough room to take in so many abandoned pets. The Delaware County SPCA is a full-service clinic that handles regular veterinary needs for members of the community and their pets. In addition, the DelCo SPCA also performs surgeries and adopts out cats and dogs. In 2012, the Delaware County SPCA was able to save 3,139 animals and place them in “forever homes.” This year the DelCo SPCA is aiming to save more than 3,300 animals.

This year, I’ve worked on several projects for Rich Tolsma Productions. This video was another one of the projects I shot and edited since joining the team at Rich Tolsma Productions.
