Olympians at Penn Relays

This was the twelfth year I shot the Penn Relays. It is always great fun to see athletes from middle school all the way through Olympic level compete in the world’s largest annual track and field meet. Seeing Leo Manzano anchor the USA Blue team to victory in the Olympic Developmental Mens Distance Medley Relay was pretty exciting, especially since he went on to win a silver medal in the 1500m at the London Olympics and beat out perennial mile champion Bernard Lagat in this race. Also, London 2012 400m champion Sanya Richards-Ross anchored the USA Red team to victory in the  Olympic Developmental Women’s 4×400 relay.
