Hillary Clinton at the WRI Luncheon

1 Min Read

On June 12, the World Resources Institute held its biennial Courage to Lead Luncheon to honor leaders in issues of sustainability. WRI honored CITI Foundation President and CEO, Pam Flaherty and WRI Chairman, James Harmon for incorporating the idea of sustainability into business practices. Rockefeller Foundation president, Judith Rodin, and former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, were featured speakers, along with Dan Doctoroff, president and CEO of Bloomberg; and Andrew Steel, president and CEO of WRI. The luncheon was held at 583 Park Avenue in New York City. There was a lot of talk that Hillary Clinton might announce her candidacy for 2016 at the luncheon, but she did not succumb to the pressure. As a consolation though, attendees of the luncheon received a copy of Hillary Clinton’s new book Hard Choices.

Thanks to my old friend JWJ Ferguson for shooting the event with me.
