Visit Philadelphia – Stock Reel

1 Min Read

If you hadn’t heard, Philadelphia has made the news a lot lately, and for good reasons. In early January, The New York Times named Philadelphia number three in its top 52 places to visit in 2015. Condé Nast Traveler also named Philadelphia the second best shopping city in the world. And Forbes Travel Guide has declared “The City of Brotherly Love is having a moment.”  It seems as though the folks at Visit Philadelphia are doing their job of promoting Philadelphia well. Indeed, it is a great time to be in Philadelphia or to visit Philadelphia. Plan your visit now.

From late August 2014 through October I was contracted by Visit Philadelphia to shoot some stock footage at several locations around the city. It was great to both visit and shoot some of the new hot spots in the city, like Spruce Street Harbor Park, Washington Avenue Green, and the newly renovated Dilworth Park. It was also nice to catch up with some places I haven’t frequented so much lately, like the Liberty Bell at Independence National Historic Park and First Friday in Old City. This is a one minute reel of my favorite shots from this project. I hope it makes you want to visit Philadelphia.
