Skylight at McCarter Theatre Center

You still have a couple weeks left to catch McCarter Theatre Center’s new production of Skylight. Written by David Hare and directed by Emily Mann, Skylight takes us into an intimate night between two former lovers who re-process their past and ponder a possible future. Starring Mahira Kakkar, Greg Wood, and Zane Pais, the play is intense. It deals with issues of love, loss, family, loyalty, betrayal, death, class, and politics.

The dialogue is searing and slowly reveals the past these two former lovers shared, as they revisit that history. It is a great show, and the performances are stellar.
